Opal Ore drops one of three types of opal gem: Yellow, Blue, and Pink. Pink is the rarest.
These opal gems can be used to make different types of tools.
Or, they can be used to make new blocks, like opal blocks.
Surround a yellow opal block with blue and pink opal blocks for an opal bench.
Grab the opal bench and put it in front of a villager to make an opalworker villager.
Trade with him for opal to level him up, until you find opal dust as a trade.
Finally, use the opal dust with sticks to make an opal multitool.
There's more new biomes, including the Toxic Fields, in which Toxic Slate and Uranium can only spawn in. There's also the Mega Autumn Spruce, and Barren Wastelands.
