Transparent Custom Blocks Not Working (please help)

I am trying to make frost as a block you can place on the ground, similar to leaf litter, carpet, and others, and it should be transparent. The texture has some transparent parts on it, and the model is made using Blockbench. Unfortunately, the block is rendered opaque with no way of fixing it to my knowledge. I have tried every transparency option and nothing works. Please help.
