Gastropod Galore

This is Gastropod Galore, a mod that focuses on snails and slugs. v1 of the mod focuses mostly on farming

Mobs:

• Snails - Crop pests but can be bred with Crop items(wheat, beetroot, potato, carrot, melon) and can be tamed with bonemeal, doesn't follow players but now harvest crops and has a 40% chance to drop slimeballs each harvest, if killed has a 1 in 3 chance to drop Snail Shells, Untamed Snails have a 20% chance every eaten crop to spawn a Snailet by themselves.
• Slugs/Banana Slugs - Eats grass and can be tamed, doesn't follow players. Slugs can be breed with any seeds (except Torchflower Seeds and Pitcher Pods) and Leaf Litter, Red and Brown Mushrooms, and can be tamed with bonemeal, has a 40% chance to drop slimeballs each eaten grass, Slugs/Banana Slugs have a 10-15% chance every eaten grass to spawn a Sluglet by themselves.
• Apple Snails - Can be bred with seagrass and kelp, supposed to be a pests, if killed has a 1 in 3 chance to drop Snail Shells.
• Sea Bunnies - Will give water breathing to nearby players and poisons attackers as self-defense
• Magma Snails - Speeds on top of Magma, Lava, Fire, and Campfires or In the nether. Smelts Raw Ore, Clay, or Raw food. Each item it smelts give it a 100 tick cooldown (64 items = 5~ minutes) or 50 ticks on top of Magma, Lava, Fire, and Campfires (64 items = 2.7 minutes). Shoots magma goop which explodes and spreads magma and blackstone if provoked
• Volcanic Snails - Bigger, Lava cracked Magma Snails, always hostile and shoots lava goop which is more potent magma goop. Has a 1 in 3 chance to drop Volcanic Snail Shell - doesn't have a use for now.
• Immortal Snail - Hunts down player and kills them even in Creative/Spectator mode

Mob Spawning:

• Snails, Slugs - Forests, Flower Forests, Birch Forest, Old Growth Birch Forests, Dark Forests
• Banana Slugs - Dark Forest, Old Growth Pine Taigas, Old Growth Spruce Taigas
• Apple Snails - Any water source that isn't in a Cold Biome nor Ocean Biome.
• Sea Bunnies - Lukewarm Oceans, Deep Lukewarm Oceans, Warm Oceans.
• Magma Snails - On top of magma blocks underwater, guaranteed to spawn 3 in Thermal Geodes
• Volcanic Snails - Basalt Deltas (in the nether)
• Immortal Snail - Summoned by Right-clicking a Snail using a Totem of Undying

Enchantments (Hoe):

Cultivation:

Max Level: 4

• Level 1: Plants 5 crops that are in the off-hand in a Plus shape
• Level 2: Plants 9 crops that are in the off-hand in a 3x3 Square
• Level 3: Plants 13 crops that are in the off-hand in a Diamond shape
• Level 4: Plants 25 crops that are in the off-hand in a 5x5 Square
• Level 3 and above will expand the hoe-till radius to a 3x3 Square
• Makes Tamed Snails harvest crops

Zeal:

Max Level: 2

• Speeds up Tamed Snails/Slugs
• Level 1: Speeds up Snails/Slugs by 2x
• Level 2: Speeds up Snails/Slugs by 3x + Ignores harvest cooldown

New items:

• Snail Shells - Dropped from Snails and Apple Snails. Can be crafted into 3 Bonemeals, Can be brewed into a potion of sluggishness which gives Slowness 3 and Resistance 2 for 1 minute, Can be traded to Farmer Villages for 1 Emerald (5 Shells = 1 Emerald) and Wandering Traders can trade 1 Emerald for 3 Shells
• Volcanic Snail Shells - No uses yet.

• Roasted Carrots - Obtained by cooking carrots, gives same hunger points and saturation as baked potatoes.

   

Other Stuff:

• Thermal Geodes - Are water-filled geodes with magma in the bottom. sole purpose to spawn Magma Snails.
• Mushroom Patches - Spawns in Dark Forest.
• Snail Predators - Frogs now can eat Snails, Slugs, Banana Slugs, and Apple Snails and drops 1 Slimeball. Axolotls hunt Apple Snails and hostile to Snails.
   

Cut/Scrapped/Shelved Features: NOT PERMNANTLY REMOVED

• Haunt - Ghost Snail that would protect farmland.
• Harmony - Tames nearby Snails or Slugs if holding its food item
• Slug Mucus - No Uses
   

Planned Features/Updates:
 

• Snail Evolutions - Newly born Snailets would have a small chance (5-15%) to evolve into a new snail species
• Volcanic Snail Shell Chestplate - Slightly weaker than Netherite, gives Fire Resistance for 15 seconds or longer (based on Turtle Helmets)
• More Structures - Snail Dens, Abandoned Huts, etc.
• More Nether-related Gastropods
• Snail Shell Block - Decorative block that is just the Garden Snail's Shell
