Armor Textures not Working.

Ever since I began trying to use MCreator, (Version 2024.4) the option to either import or create an armor layer texture has not existed? All sources on the MCreator forums and documentation say that there should be the option to create an armor layer texture next to the options to create other textures. Plus, whenever I try to import a texture, there is no option to classify it as "armor". The only possible solution I could think of is to find a way to import a custom model with an attached texture. If you have any suggestions or solutions, please respond to this post.
