dude, use Events... Make a Item with the Custom Icon, then use events to set the effect, no way to detect if you have a effect active though
Yo can make a food with custom effect when drinked. But what i was wondering is making a potion effect and not a potion that only executes an event / makes a vanilla effect.

yeah, i would love a (Potion) Tab on the Selection Area where you can add a Custom Potion Icon, the Discription and what effects it gives you, which can also be customized.
