why don't you just "unite" all versions and make it to where you choose on the launcher which version the mod is for?
is it to save data because if you want only 1.12.2 you don't have to download all the MCreator versions or is it something else. if that is the case just make it so you choose which versions of MC you want to make mods for when you install the MCreator launcher.
if you understand what I mean and agree with me plz leave a comment saying so.

But you won't even need launcher, you will be just able to select workspace version on the fly.
