Okay so I have this custom crafting station where it mixes two items together to get one better item. And that part works, but I have 9 slots to the side which work as a mini storage. Whenever I put items into the storage, then exit out of the gui and go back in, they disappear. I've made the storage part a separate inventory group as well. I've also made sure that the items don't drop when I exit the gui.
Here's an image of the layout in the editor: (Slots 04-12 are the storage) 
Only use storage related blocks that come out of the "Block procedure" tab. Not from the GUI tab.
Also when using inventory, enable inventory on the block. Then select inherited inventory in the GUI mod element. Don't create a custom inventory (name).
