A Question of Support

I feel a need to ask if the issues with flying mobs are planned to be fixed before dropping support for 1.12.2 or not. I ask this because I need this feature to finish my mod for 1.12.2. I will not port to a later version until the 1.12.2 version is finished. I understand that other people are dropping 1.12.2, and with good reason too, but there are some features that I need to have for 1.12.2 that are not currently available.
