Custom .obj models show default texture

So I have this custom model, made in blender, exported as .obj and made into a custom block in MCreator. The issue is that although the model loads correctly, it renders with the magenta and black default texture. After searching for quite a while the only solutions I can find are to do with "vt" stuff and I have checked and everything is within what it should be. I just don't see how to fix this, does anyone know any extra things that could throw it off? The texture is in 1:1 ratio as needed and is in the main texture field. It has transparent parts so I have selected the transparent stuff too. I just don't know what else to do? Any ideas?

Still no progress a couple of days on. The model loads perfectly well, but the texture just won't work!

Yeah, the thing is, the model was made in blender originally as .glb or something. Even with .obj the textures just don't work! I just don't get it.

Yeah when I used a .obj model the textures don't work, I just use .json models and it works fine
