About the plugin

Upgraded and improved, Nerdy's New Curios API plugin introduces new mod elements to MCreator that allow for creating Curios compatible slots and baubles that can provide both visual model rendering and functionality.

While Curios API must always be enabled in the workspace, it does not become a required dependency, remaining completely optional. When Curios is not loaded alongside your mod, your baubles only lose their Curios functionality and your mod is able to be loaded alone.

Java plugins must be enabled for this plugin to load

How to use?

First of all, despite being optional when loading the mod, Curios API must be enabled in your workspace so the Curios code can compile. You will need to do this in workspace settings.

You can then create a curios bauble and select the item element you want to turn into a bauble.

To render a model when equipping the bauble, you will need to make a java model the same way you would for an armor, and select the pieces so they can match the movement of the player model

Showcase

With the curios slot mod element, you can also create new slots for your baubles not included in curios. The texture should match the size of the slot. If not, it will be stretched and resized to fit.

For those who want to use this plugin for versions 2025.1 and 2025.2, I’m currently using this plugin and so far it’s working well for me: https://mcreator.net/plugin/118708/nerdymix

im gonna try to make the plugin compatible with the forge 1.20.1 plugin so we can get unrealistic on 2025.2

Can someone actually port this to recent versions instead of just asking Nerdypuzzle to do it? He's not gonna, so you should do it yourself.

Now that curios is back is the mod gonna comebacl

So, I'm using MCreator 2023.4, and I got the api of this for 2023.4, yet it still says I'm "missing miniversion". What am I doing wrong? I'm using the right API for the right MCreator, but it wont work. This is my first ever mod, and I don't know what to do

When the world needed him the most.... he vanished

I hope everything is alright. We will be waiting for your returning.

Good afternoon, I have a problem, I haven't found a solution anywhere and I don't know what the problem is. When I add a new curiosity and put it in a slot with another one, they "conflict" in some way, and when I squat, the player's model does not match the model of clothes I wear from the curiosity slots. When I just insert it into one frame, everything is fine, but when I insert another item into another curiosity slot, everything breaks. The helmet also fits incorrectly to the player's head. How can I fix this? (Mcreator 2023.2. Minecraft 1.18.2. The model is set up correctly, and all the center points are set up correctly, too. I was messing with the checkmarks on the mcreator tab in the settings of the clothes themselves. Maybe I just don't understand how it works? please help).

PLEASE UPDATE THIS PLUGIN TO 2024.4 NERDY I BEG OF YOU. Dude I would be willing to pay for it dude please
