About the plugin

GeckoLib support for MCreator is back! Now more powerful than ever, GeckoLib allows you to animate your entity, block, armor and item models using smooth keyframe animations made with blockbench. This plugin implements an easy to use method of applying those animations and models in only a few simple steps!

 

The java plugins feature needs to be enabled as this is a java plugin

-This plugin is not maintained or supported by the the creators of  GeckoLib.

 

As I am currently serving in the military, I have little time to test and update the plugin, so expect to encounter bugs. I will eventually fix them, but don't count on a specific timeline. However, you are making it harder on yourself by not using my issue tracker and expecting me to read every comment here to see if anyone is encountering issues every time I release a new version.

I have the same problem with all the versions, when i enter mcreator it shows me that i dont have a needed file or smth like that, the file is net.mcreator.ui.minecraft.DimensionListField. Can someone please help me?

hey the enable head animation only allows for movement on yaw and not pitch can u fix this?

1.20.1 2023.4 i saw that you had to make stop animation procedures work again i think the same issue is happening for armour elements loop animations wont stop with the stop block or with me playing another animation might be me doing it wrong but idk

Why is the animated block element missing in the new version? lmk if it is removed permanently or if will it be added back

I believe I have followed the tutorial for this version correctly, and I also made sure I have the correct version of the plugin. I did all of the below.

-Created a blockbench model

-Animated it

-Created a 'geo' and 'animations' folder

-Put the geo and animation files in their respective places

-Created a procedure to setup class (and made sure model was not capitalized)

-Regenerated the code

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I made the entities before I installed the plugin, but I didn't think that would be the issue. This is the crashlog: https://pastebin.com/tDFS8VXR (I am on Mcreator version 2022.3, and Minecraft version 1.18.2)

please add a way to edit the entitys pitch because nothing does even the enable head animation only allows for movement on yaw and not pitch

PLEASE add an option for animated Tools! Trying to make an animated sword that works properly is nearly impossible when using the animated item option!

How can I change an animated mob texture like a wolf can when attacked/attacking entity and revert back to the default texture afterwords?

Hey, I'm encountering a issue where if I am placing more than one of the same modded entity (seemingly in a certain range of each other), it breaks one or both of there animations, causing them to stutter and jitter like a glitch.

I am getting an issue with the later updates where it doesn't automatically rename my animation names to lowercase (like it does with the .geo models), which causes build errors. (minor error since I can just go in and rename it myself)

like a procudure just like the one u did to set Textures on Entities, but with set Glow Texture instead

I am having this error when trying to start it

C:\Users\{user}\MCreatorWorkspaces\{my mod}\build\resources\main has mods that were not found

your plugin is the only one I installed, so am I missing something or not?

I don't know what to do after this update. Since adding and looping external animations is no longer available I had to remake the procedure and make sitting animation for every mob as separate line of code. Problem is the animatyion won't stop playing even if mob stops sitting. To stop it, I used "else> stop current procedure triggered animation". It worked but now no other procedure triggered animation (I had 2 idle animations playing randomly) will play.
How to fix that?
