About the plugin

GeckoLib support for MCreator is back! Now more powerful than ever, GeckoLib allows you to animate your entity, block, armor and item models using smooth keyframe animations made with blockbench. This plugin implements an easy to use method of applying those animations and models in only a few simple steps!

 

The java plugins feature needs to be enabled as this is a java plugin

-This plugin is not maintained or supported by the the creators of  GeckoLib.

 

As I am currently serving in the military, I have little time to test and update the plugin, so expect to encounter bugs. I will eventually fix them, but don't count on a specific timeline. However, you are making it harder on yourself by not using my issue tracker and expecting me to read every comment here to see if anyone is encountering issues every time I release a new version.

Hello, I am making a mod in mcreator 2023.4 with this plugin and I don't know why but every time I try to add an animated entity and test it the game crashes, I try any way to fix it but the same error just keeps coming up. Somebody could help me?

Hey im making a 1.19.4 mod with geckolib and all of a sudden i cant save the animated armor elements. I can save everything else, but when im done customizing everything and i hit save, nothing happens, and if i check the workspace its just not there.

Hey! I was wondering if you could help me. I want an entity to loop a sleeping animation when its night and then stop the animation when its day and when it's attacked

Hello again! I saw your update, I'm using the block If entity element [entity] is the event/target entity then play animation "sit". (is a loop animation)

But when I call the stop current procedure triggered animation doesn't seem to work.

I made a flip flop condition, if the player right clicks, the creature sits (execute loop animation procedure) but if the player right clicks the entity again, it will get up (execute stop current procedure animation)

also im trying to Set Rotation of Entity to Pitch -180 , with the procedure on EntityTickUpdate, but i cant do it now way, is there a way to maybe do with data? i tried too failed - i got this rocket, he goes up fly on tick update for 3 seconds then he falls down and explode; but i want it turn face down when falling, and it does not :(

oooh lol so the pitch only turns the Head group of the entity? darn lol thats why it was not working, so how could i do like, set on blockbench the hole model inside a 'head' group? btw i think that rocket was a regular mcreator entity i just notice that now, the pitch thing is general right not only for your entities?
