About the plugin

GeckoLib support for MCreator is back! Now more powerful than ever, GeckoLib allows you to animate your entity, block, armor and item models using smooth keyframe animations made with blockbench. This plugin implements an easy to use method of applying those animations and models in only a few simple steps!

 

The java plugins feature needs to be enabled as this is a java plugin

-This plugin is not maintained or supported by the the creators of  GeckoLib.

 

As I am currently serving in the military, I have little time to test and update the plugin, so expect to encounter bugs. I will eventually fix them, but don't count on a specific timeline. However, you are making it harder on yourself by not using my issue tracker and expecting me to read every comment here to see if anyone is encountering issues every time I release a new version.

How long are we expecting the wait to be for full 2023.3 support? No rush, just wondering if you have an ETA :D

when is 2023.3 version coming i want to put an entity i worked really hard on but i cant cause its only for 2023. eap 3 which doesnt have 1.20

question: why on 1.20.1 i can only do the idle animation and not idk attak animation? i had to swich back to 1.19.4 to fix it

the custom models and animations on items donț render which is weird because an older item i added still renders

the geckolib just keeps crashing the game, and no matter how many videos i watch, i don't see what i'm doing wrong...

Hello, I'm using the plugin and I had trouble saving an animated entity. After some time trying to figure out what was wrong, I realized it was the attack animation, but no matter which animation I set for the attack, it keeps giving an error

plugin is really bugged with items, every single time ive tried making the animated item it keeps saying theres a compiling error, and ive tried everything from looking through each file to double checking the code i have for the item and it all checks out, anyone that can help me?

For the attack animations, lock the code, and look for where the attack animation is reffering to '.level'. Replace this with '.level()'. This presumably changes it to the correct function call, (I just deduced this from looking at other entity code), and it appears to fix the issue.

Heads up, it seems like fall animations may be broken in the latest snapshot version. Dug through the source files, and the issue seems to be the '.isOnGround,()' method, which causes compilation errors. You can still play the animations manually using your own check- just in case anyone was having issues with this, disabling custom fall animations should fix it.

Hello i am making a armor model with the animation and i exported the mod for testing, and when i put the helmet the minecraft close and appear this mensage The game crashed whilst rendering entity in world
Error: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: head ( no is not the armor group model in blockbench is armorHead), can anyone help me?
