Help with rain color

So, i am working on this mod that has a biome, the concept of that biome being that it rains blood all the time (edgy, i know)
The problem being: i have no idea of how to make the rain particle red
I looked up the minecraft source code to see how it renders rain, but i don't know how can i modify it or make my own weather mod element that makes rain red
So, how can i make the rain red, only on a especific biome?

Just make some kind over…

Just make some kind over really skuffed and botched massive entity with a strange model via something like block bench, then give it 9999 health and make it unkillable via anything besides falling, then remove nearly all its ai and set its speed to 0, then make it so that biome has a f ton of them spawn all the bloody time and make a procedure that on their spawn - creation, teleports them into the sky by about 50 blocks or so, now just make them a stupidly large model in y, a blooody texture and cram that thing into your mod...

im really tired at the time of writing this..

if you need anymore help or possible execution of it - the modeling of it, hit me up on discord lol.. my discord is Aubarino#8007

oh also make a  procedure for when it "falls" .. make it so if it  "falls" it sets health to 0 and takes 1 damage, then despawn the entity to be sure..
