How to make a single item that includes multiple different items

I would like to know is there a way to make 1 single item count for all kinds of different items of the same type, such as the "Any Wooden Planks" item. That was just 1 block but it counted as all types of would. I tried to use he new Tags feature in Mcreator 2019.5 EAP (46321), but it didnt work the way i wanted it to. Any help is useful. Thanks in advanced.
