mental block, how do I solve it?

Here are a few suggestions if you are looking for inspiration:

• Play Minecraft until you suddenly get the inspiration. It can be both modded or vanilla.
• Browse some mods and look at what do they add
• Think of a real life thing (or something from a game, movie, etc.) and what would it look like in Minecraft
• Look at features which were suggested to be added in vanilla by the Minecraft community
• Watch some modded survival videos (and skip the boring parts)
• If none of the previous ones works, then have a break. Sometimes this is the best solution
