Ideas for 2020.2+
Thu, 02/27/2020 - 16:02 (edited)

Here are some Ideas for next MCreator versions:

1. Folders: so that you can put specific mod Elements in if your mod has a lot of mod elements

2. Procedures for Vanilla Blocks/Items: ie. Update Tick for Vanilla blocks

3. Modifying/Removing entire Vanilla Items/Blocks/Biomes (if even possible)

4. Changing advancement tab backgrounds (Maybe also Vanilla ones)

5. Sorting custom creative tabs

6. Select if plant is centered or randomly (not exactly in the middle) places on a block

7. Antigravity for Blocks (Similar to falling sand but upwards)

8. Brewing stand, Anvil, Loom, Stonecutter etc. Recipes

9. More Recipes in one Recipe mod element (In Recipe Editor click on "Add Recipe" to create more

recipes in one mod element + select which type (Crafting, Smelting) it should be)

10. Multiple item restrictions in GUI Slots

11. Creating biomes in Nether & End

12. Ability to open Vanilla GUIs (Crafting, Furnace) with procedures (could be useful if you want to make for example stone, birch, spruce crafting table)

13. When making a GUI you can create a n*n grid of Slots that work like a normal crafting grid (if you make it 4x4 you can put 3x3 Recipes to  get a normal output) and when creating a recipe you could select it as for example (CUSTOM:4x4) Recipe type and than it looks like a 4x4 crafting grid where you can put items in just like creating a normal Crafting recipe (with this you can also have all the Vanilla recipes, make the custom Crafting table compatible with other mods and not have to add every single 4x4 recipe with procedures)

What do you think about these ideas?

1. Already asked https://mcreator.net/tracker/issue/47068

2. Search on the website

3. Search on the website (And I think it’s not possible.)

4. It’s already possible.

5. Create them in order ;)

6. I think Minecraft place plants randomly on the block automatically.

7. Not possible (without hard code or very advanced code)

8. Tracker https://mcreator.net/tracker/issue/51048

9. Okay, try to ask it on the tracker.

11.For the Nether wait the Nether Update.

12. This feature has been asked a lot, and you can do this with custom code. (I don’t remember what is it however.)
