It is not possible to craften slabs at the workbench (Mcreator 2020.2)

I probably didn't express myself clearly, but I have experience with Mcreator. All my other recipes work but for some reason it does not work with slabs at least in 1.12.2

I have checked this and I can confirm this happens in 1.12.2, but the release is now out and won't receive more patches so this will have to wait for the next update.

The time for testing is snapshots period and early days of release, bugs discovered later are scheduled for the next release.

I thought the bug was in 1.14.4 but it turns out is 1.12.2 bug only so this won't be fixed as 2020.2 was the last update on 1.12.2 as crispy_chips1234 noted.

I probably found out how to make workaround for that, but this bug is just so painful to encounter, you can't believe it.

My workaround: create Workbench model reminding slab, call it slab, set its textures and so on; so it can look similar on crafting bench recipe.
Then, make it remove itself and replace with normal slabs, "when in inventory".

I hate that I need to do 18 slabs now to just finish my update, but eh, this is probably the simplest way to make that work.
(of course I recommend using 1 model and just changing its names/textures during importing, so you don't need to waste even more time)
