My ideas for mcreator

These are some ideas i would like to be added in mcreator. Hope you like them.

Procedure ideas:

  • Math and Logic operation blocks could go in the has provided entity in inventory.
  • When you choose block or item, you can write ID to choose, so if you have mod that require's other mods, you can use their items.
  • Cooldown - Cooldown in ticks.
  • Way to set items in output slots with string variables - By setting the variable to items ID.

Creative tab ideas:

  • creative tab ID's, their use comes in block ideas, item ideas and tool ideas.

Block ideas:

  • Block model: Chest - Makes it be almost full block, but still not full block.
  • When your choose creative tab, you can write ID to choose, so if you have mod that require's other mods, you can use their tab's.

 Item & Tool ideas:

  • When you choose creative tab, you can write ID to choose, so if you have mod that require's other mods, you can use their tab's.
  • Item/Tool model: Big - In inventory goes littlebit out of the grid. In hand is Same sized than 4 blocks.
  • Tool model: long - In inventory goes out of the hotbar. In hand is 2 blocks long.

Mob ideas:

  • A way to make custom villager types. (With types I mean like farmers, blacksmiths & nitwits)

Other ideas:

  • element: gamemode - Because of the thing that procedures can check gamemode, It would be good. Gamemode's setting's would have Health option with "No health(For creative like gamemodes)", "10(Regular Vanilla health count)", "Enter count here(For custom health count)" and "0.5(Player die's if he got's damegad)". It would maybe have too Mob attacking option with "No attack(For making mobs not care about player)", "Regular(For making hostile mobs attack and passive mobs not care)", "HardCore(For making all mobs attack)" and "Cursed(For making hostile mobs not care and passive mobs attack)".
  • Way to make mod's to 1.16(When 1.16 forge has come)
  • element: gamerule - It would have it's own variable, and setting's would have Variable type option with "Logic" and "Number". It woud maybe have too  Initial value option with "Select number(For Number type)", "True(For Logic type)" and "False(For Logic type)".
  • Way to make mods for 1.12.2, 1.11.2 and those with even the 2020.3.

 

Sorry for bit bad english, I know that there's some things wrongly written. And I think that MCreator is amazing, but I just want to tell, how I think MCreator could be made even better. Just 1 of these would be enough for me to be very happy. The one I need least is "Block model: Chest".

 

Generation ideas:

  • Someway to make custom world types (With world type I mean buffet, superflat and those), it would'nt matter if they would be complex, I just would want them to be easier than coding them.

Yeah! I agree with a lot of these things! I don't know if Forge lets you just use the IDs of stuff from another mod, though. But other than that this would be very nice.

Forge lets you just use the IDs of stuff from another mod, though. But other than that this would be very nice.

This is possible, I plan adding this in the future
