I think it would be cool instead of using a lot of logic and GUI blocks to make recipes, the recipe maker could be able to create recipes from blocks you make.
Also maybe add a crafting block type?
That isn't really I thing. All a crafting bench is, is just a block and a container. MCreator has both of those elements I believe.

modding with procedures is already a lot easier than java. There are plenty of tutorials on this website and on youtube too :D
