Issue with 1.12.2

I recently updated MCreator to 2020.2, and everytime I try to make a mod for 1.12.2, a message appears when the gradle is setting up: "MCreator setup failed!"

I play with 1.12.2, all of my mods are on that version , and I don't want lose my stuff

does anybody have a similar issue?

does somebody know how to fix this?

Sadly, as 1.12.2 is going to be unsupported very soon, the Devs will not fix this problem :(

So I recommend just creating your mods for 1.14.4. Also, you should update your old workspaces to 1.14.4 too because you won’t be able to do that in 2020.3 and if you don’t you’re mods would be stuck in 1.12.2 forever.

you could try downloading the zip file of Mcreator 2020.2.. That's what I use and it works fine for me.. though I made my mod first for 1.14.4 then downgraded to 1.12.2..

I just realized that if you don’t update your workspace, it won’t get stuck in 1.12.2, and you can update at anytime.
