As I announced, I am considering open-sourcing MCreator. As this alone without contributors does not make much sense, I made this survey to find out how many users willing to contribute we have.
If we go this route, we would release MCreator under GPL-3.0 license with exception to allow mods made with it use custom licenses. Contributors would have to sign CLA similar to the one we use for existing projects (https://cla-assistant.io/Pylo/MCreatorGenerator-Forge-1.12.2).
Keep in mind this survey is informative and not binding in any way, but please fill this survey only if you can and would contribute to the project so we can get a real insight into the status of contributors.

Once I get better at java I could try to help. But I am not sure since I haven't managed to make a plugin that works yet.
I haven't filled it out since I am not sure yet.
I probably will but with school coming up I don’t know if I will have enough time. I know what I could help with addons mostly because I have coded an addon before although it took me a month it had mobs, biomes, blocks, items, and loot tables. The time I coded an addon was a few months before I joined Mcreator. I don’t play bedrock anymore but I do sometimes code addons on my phone for fun.
Also I could help with 1.16 forge generator since I have been doing a lot of research on how 1.16 mods are made using a lot of tutorials. But first I would need to make a 1.16 forge plugin to see if I can add 1.16 support
