1.12.2 is outdated. Don't make a mod in 1.12.2 please.
Why do you have such a hate boner for 1.12? I see you everywhere commenting not to use it. It's more stable than any of the new versions, if anything Mcreator should be focusing on it exclusively.
1.12.2 is one of the most stable Minecraft versions for modpacks, yes, but it's old and outdated and not even officially supported by forge.
If you still want to make a 1.12.2 mod try this plugin: https://github.com/Pylo/MCreatorGenerator-Forge-1.12.2
Keep in mind that you won't get support for it on this forums and the issue tracker and there may be issues with this plugin.
