Hi so I'm making a mod called TENEBRIS, which is about the light and dark, and in this case the story is that the darkness is conquering the light. There are two new dimensions, TENEBRIS dimension (A.K.A Void dimension, TENEBRIS means "dark" in Latin) and the LUCERNA dimension (A.K.A Sky dimension, LUCERNA means "light" in latin)

It will be very nice if you can choice if you want to stay with the dark or the light (man I study Latin at school lmao)
You could add new villages, complete with new villagers, to the new dimensions. It might make sense if the new villagers can fly and are hostile to eachother
You could make a custom gui, a TENEBRIS Crafting Table and a TENEBRIS Furnace. Also a LUCERNA Crafting table and furnace. If you want i could make the textures and upload it to dropbox or google drive.
You could make it so that the dark blocks slowly grow onto the light blocks devouring them in darkness forever
