i published a mod to the site called "gamer biome mod" yesterday, (it included a gamer biome and gamer wood) and today i made a new version so i went to update the mod but its gone. anyone know why? im assuming i filled out a certain part of the page wrong or something
While deleting, you must've un-ticked the "keep caches and settings" box. And that's bad news. If you don't have a backup of your mod, I'm sorry for you. Your mod is gone forever. My advise for you is to back up the mods that you spent a lot of time on. (Your mods are stored in "C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\MCreatorWorkspaces".)
i meant the mod page, not my actual mod files. also i never deleted it.
then just click the .mcreator file in the mod files
IM SAYING MY MOD PAGE WAS REMOVED FROM THE SITE AND I DIDNT DO IT
hey, chill bro! first off, I haven't seen what your mod page was like, but a reason why it's gone is that you might have broken at least one of the mod publishing guidelines (at https://mcreator.net/wiki/modification-publishing-guidelines). and secondly, please don't type in all caps, it only makes you sound aggressive. it generally isn't accepted on this website and you are probably only getting yourself into more trouble, just hide your aggression! or hey, you could have spent that time browsing the website and finding the "support" page then reading the guidelines; it isn't that hard.
k, i admit i was kinda in a rush and was too angry on that reply, also thanks for the tip
"Selecting a good picture is sometimes just as important as making a good mod in the first place. A good picture makes your mod more attractive which is what every mod creator wants to achieve. You must have permission for using it! The best way is making the picture yourself which can be done using various free programs such as Gimp, paint.net or paid programs such as Photoshop. We advise you not to use Paint since the quality of pictures made with it often doesn't meet our requirements. The pictures mustn't have a white background. You can use mod's screenshot instead, but be sure that it isn't an inventory screenshot and that it doesn't contain the hotbar (press the F1 key). Using a random picture or one that doesn't meet the basic standards mentioned above will result in permanent removal of your mod!" yeah this was probably the problem i didnt have a good picture so i just used the minecraft grass block texture
