I've been trying for 3 hours to get my item to be tagged with string. Trying to make a string alternative but for the life of me I cant get it to work. I'm so frustrated...
I've looked everywhere, from google to this forum. None of the explanations make any sense. The tutorial on the wiki is just him grouping modded items together. Nothing about grouping it with vanilla.
Made the tag registry name "string" with the namespace "minecraft" and that did nothing..
How would one make a vanilla item alternative? Spent hours trying to get to work. Looking through so many topics with no progress. Please help. I feel like this should be possible. The reply made it seem like its not possible with mcreator.
...there isn't a specific tag for item string though?
So if i want my item to be used in vanilla recipes as a replacement for string. I have to put in each recipe manually? Or what your telling me is its not possible.
