I noticed that a lot of people recently are having trouble getting curios to work in there nod recently so i thought i would add this post with the steps to add it for people.
1. open up your mod in mcreator
2. go to File/Preferences
3. under Manage Plugins click explore plugins
4. choose the More Apis plugin and download it
5. back in Manage Plugins click load plugin and find the More Apis file you just downloaded
6. More Apis plugin should appear on the list now and say in green text Loaded
7. now in the mod go to Workspace/Workspace Settings
8. under External APIs click the check box for Curios
9. click save changes and wait for Gradle to finish its thing
Curios is now installed in you mod

More APIs appears to be discontinued/abandoned as of the writing of this reply, is there an alternative plugin(s) I could possibly use?

I have learned how to add an item and a slot for the Curious API,
but I do not know how to add models or properties for this item.
