I just created a biome and a sub biome (snowy mountains and icy forest) with generation similar to that of the Shattered Savanna but it goes up to build limit instead of stopping at around 150 blocks. When a river generates it creates a very ugly gap in the otherwise beautiful terrain. Is there a way to stop this from happening so I don't have a gap in my biome?
Make new dimension. Replace fluid block. Add Biomes
Wouldn't that prevent rivers from generating in every biome? I only want them to not generate in those 2 biomes.
Rivers are themselves biomes. I believe in minecraft they spawn between biomes of different temperature and humidity. If you can get the temp & hum to be the same in these two biomes, the river shouldn't spawn
I might be wrong about this
I do not have any rivers in my biomes that are on the surface. I just checked. I made four recently. Try checking the biome features at the bottom. I have removed the rain from all of my biomes as well. I am not sure what the correct answer is.
