Upgrading from version to version

Hey, forum. Was trying to figure out if I could upgrade my forge-1.17.1 workspace to a forge-1.18.2 version. Is this possible, and if so, how?

Right, thatʼs what I tried to do, but when I selected the higher version with the old workspace, it didnʼt load.
