It'd be cool for us to add to custom mobs random skins.
Also what if you could add a variant of a vanilla item? Meaning you could make a variant of shield and just change the model, texture, name, and other stats to what ever you like.
yes we really need this at this point and time
Custom shields (without the trickery I had to go through to make mine) would make things so much easier, a dream come true.
That would probably be a hard one, this would also make it easier to break the Minecraft Eula with states that you can’t just take something for a mod and leave it unmodified.
