This mod adds various weaponry from all kinds of media, ranging from video games to TV shows, movies, and folklore! The weapons do not (at this moment) possess any custom abilities, effects, or anything of the sort.
Now compatible with
You might've already heard of this mod or stumbled upon it. And you would be right! There's a reason I've added "A New Path" to the mod title.
I wasn't content with the previous work I've done on the mod and decided to delete it and start from scratch. I'm working on remodeling all the weapons I've promised to add from the last project, and some other things.
A problem I had while working on the last project was giving myself deadlines and trying to release frequent updates. But I'm done with that now. I will release updates when I can and when I'm ready.
Another issue was adding too much content, like different resources, biomes, dimensions, etc. While this sounds fun on the surface, it was ultimately too much for me. So I'll be keeping this mod as simple and as vanilla-friendly as possible this time!
There are currently no plans to port the mod to older versions. If a specific version is requested enough it will be added after the 2.x.x. version release. If a lot of minecraft versions are requested a poll will be made to decide in which order the mod will be ported to. (e.g. if 1.20 wins 1st and 1.19 2nd and 1.18 3rd the mod will be ported to the one that is 1st and then to the one that won 2nd and so on)
Take note that the weapon models are not final, they will in some way or another be changed.
Mod is also on Modrinth & Curseforge
Go down to the 'Content' section to see what has been added thus far.
Or go down to the section right below to see what is planned for the future.
Special structure's are to be added to replace the method the weapons are acquired right now. That will come before a 2.x.x. version releases.

- Mjolnir (God of War)
- Stormbreaker (Marvel)
- Mjolnir (Marvel)
- Dawnbreaker (Skyrim)
- Jingubang (Black Myth: Wukong)
- Guardian Shield (God of War)
- Bloodskal Blade (Skyrim)
- Scarlet (Adventure Time)
- Iris (Witcher)
- Sauron's Mace (Lord of the Rings)

- Fierce Deity Sword (Legend of Zelda)
- Biggoron's Sword (Legend of Zelda)
- Auriel's Bow (Skyrim)

- Barbarian Hammer (God of War)
The order in which new weapons are added is entirely random
If you want a weapon to be added to this list, let me know!
Planned to release on Fabric, Unlikely to be released on Forge (But if requested enough I might reconsider)
There's new type of ore you craft new tools and weapons with. You can also repair your special weapons with this new metal. The new tier of weapons are on the same tier as Netherite, but stronger. It's very rare though, it spawns at around Y level -56 and usually comes in a vein max of 3. But you call also craft the raw variant of the new ore.
New items can be found in these new ruin structures:
Weapons present in the current version:
- Master Sword
- Leviathan Axe
- Aerondight
- Blade of Chaos
- Blade of Olympus
- Excalibur
- Draupnir Spear
- Hylian Shield
- Thanos' Double Edged Sword
- Demon Blood Sword
Have fun with the mod!

That's what I'm trying to do, but some weapons have thousands of details and so it is hard for me to fit them into this minecraft style.
But i'm open to ANY criticism, so if you could tell me what I should do with the models to make them look more 'minecraft-y', then please, do tell!
It sucks that you can't use it for current game-play as it's a little outdated
