I'm making a mod that revamps progression, adding bosses, ores and areas throughout a playthrough and need some ideas!

I want to make a mod like what Calamity mod does for Terraria, adding new bosses ores and areas throughout your playthrough.

It would be great to have some ideas with how I should go about it, or some things that I should add! It would be awesome to have outside opinions.

 

 

Currently I've mostly been thinking about post-enderdragon content, but here are some things I have been planning on adding: 

copper armor, and reimplementation of rubies which you can get pre-wither but with one of the wither drops you can start using it, it can let you upgrade weapons and can slightly change how they work, also letting you choose enchantments and stuff

Cold slows you down, giving you frostbite, unless you are near fire, are wearing leather armor, are in enclosed houses, hot foods/drinks can also temporarily remove the debuff. 

Magic weapons which are hopefully all unique, ranging from staffs, auto-attacking blades, spellbooks, etc.

End meteorites, which can be found in the End and can be mined with netherite pickaxes, dropping Comet Essence which can be used along with dragon scales from the Ender Dragon to craft the Astral set

A smaller dimension inside the Nether, sort of just a desolate area with soul-sand themed enemies and a stronger variant of the wither boss, having blue fire attacks and attacking up front with a sword instead of with projectiles mainly. He would drop his sword, as well as a key to the Aether biome.

An elder dragon boss, fought after all of these earlier enemies, not really locked to progression but more of an optional boss by hatching the dragon egg in the end

I definitely want to readd the Aether biome and tweak it to suit the mod better, such as adding areas with airships that you can raid and golden gates to a more greco-roman type area which can be unlocked with the wither 2.0's key, revealing new enemies, more mythological themed enemies, drops and bosses, and a space themed area

Anyways, what do you guys think? It's definitely very ambitious but I have some help and if anyone would like to help on this stuff it would be great to have more people working on it! If you have any ideas you would like to add or changes you would make please let me know!

Maybe improve farming, like more crop options, like CORN, or maybe better stone/wood farming.

Some more misc mobs, like snakes/small spiders, harmless stuff.

Really cool ideas, I'm definitely going to try to implement them! The deathwood especially is a really cool concept. The imgur link isnt working for me though, you mind resending it?

These are upgraded versions of certain monsters with high stats, and can have 60 to 200 hit points.

They have special characteristics: Summon, Heal, Throw projectiles.

That would be great for your mod!
