Topic category: Help with MCreator software
So, I'm working on a mod, and I saw a tutorial on how to use Nerdy's Geckolib plugin. But I don't feel comfortable allowing full access to my computer. Is there a safe way to do it/a way to have that in the future?

Could not find any youtube videos, i understand that some find it easier in video format but making mods takes time and passion, take a good read through the tutorial and follow it exactly as it says, you should not be downloading random stuff to install it, all you need is Mcreator and the plugin.

Then you will have to write the code manually.
If you do not for some reason trust that my plugin is safe to use, you can take a look at the plugin's code yourself to confirm it is safe either by using a java decompiler or by checking the source code repository that is linked in the plugin's page.
Well, I mean no disrespect, but I'm just being cautious.
Oh don't worry, i have been using it and other plugins since forever. Usually the computer warns about java downloads, but this is completely fine, as long as you download it here and not on other websites.
