Hello everyone.
I'm trying to create a new recipe for an existing vanilla item. However, I'm a little confused by the "Recipe Group Name" field. I understand that it's to categorize the recipe in the recipe book, but I have no idea what these groups are called. MCreator provides a link, but it isn't very helpful. Google search yeilds no answers, either.
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
When you write a name in this field, all recipes with this name (in the same field) will appear in the recipe book in the same slot (like the boats of different wood)
@TheDragon'sSon Example please.
im guessing they mean like putting wool in the search bar and all things with the recipe group name of wool would show it but thats just my guess
Recipes with the same name that yield a different result will be listed under the same item in the recipe book. This means you can right click the item's entry and it will show you all the possible configurations. (For example, how all the different wood variants of a door are listed under one item.)
Yeah, but do you put in any name or a block's registry name or..?
