Hello everyone! I'm new to the Minecraft modding community and I need help creating my own aggressive mob. The thing is that I created a mob that should quickly catch up with the player and kill him, and it seems to me that I have set up enough speed for him, but when the mob sees the player, he simply cannot catch up with him, he can stand in one place or just spin around himself, and it is easy to get away from him without even running.
I will attach all the AI settings of this mob and will try to attach a video where this problem will be shown. Is this a Minecraft or Mcreator bug or did I do something wrong? I need your help.
And this is wideo with problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wH8-29L9rb8

The images aren't loading. Tho, I suspect it probably has something to do with a "Do melee/contact attack with speed factor" block, where the speed factor might be set too low. Just increase the speed factor if the mob seems too slow?
Could you upload a screenshot of the "AI and goals" tab?
Your mobs AI seems unnecessarily complicated and cluttered, there are some repeating blocks that basically do the same thing, and they're set up in a way in which the wrong tasks might be taking priority over the others.
I'd suggest setting up the AI tasks like this, might help with the mob overall:

This AI does practically the same thing as yours, but I've optimized it and removed all the clutter.
