Topic category: Help with MCreator software
I just updated to MCreator 2024.1 and I tried to open my workspace that had the jei API installed. This wouldn't be a huge deal, because i figured I could just reinstall JEI from the website. Nope. It's completely gone. No new versions or anything. I tried downgrading back to 2023.4 and uninstalling JEI from the workspace and trying that. That also didn't work.
The full error is:
"This workspace seems to require features that are not present or supported by the current generator/plugins combination."
"This can be caused by either generator not supporting those features, or a missing plugin that adds support for them. Make sure you have all the required plugins installed and that they support the selected generator and MCreator version."
"Support for the following components is missing: APIs: JEI"
I have no clue what happened to the JEI plugin devs, but i'm not able to uninstall the api, and i can't install a new version that supports 2024.1. I have also tried downgrading , like i said prior, to attempt to uninstall the api. After that i regenerated the code of the workspace and hoped that it would work.

And what if the version of MCreator i tried opening it in, should already have the plugin/api enabled but it doesn't?
I installed an older version of MCreator because the plugin i need for a specific project is not supported for the newer ones. Now when i try to open the project (ment for the newest version) it wont open, says its missing APIs.
