"Spawn Gem" spawns ghost item?

The "Spawn Gem" event spawns the item it's supposed to spawn, aswell as a ghost copy of the item that cannot be picked up or destroyed.

I need an atleast decent step-by-step tutorial on how to fix this.

I heard somewhere that I have to spawn the items "on server-side only", but I don't know what that means.
