Recently I have been trying to make a defending type mob that attacks everyone but the spawner of it then dissapears. I havent seen any similar solutions so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, you should make a tameable mob, in Ai section, click animal type and "can tame" then place blocks in a sort to make a tameable entity (there is an AI template for that). If you have put the template, the entity will act just have a wolf, if you want it to attack everything then you can add the "do melee combat" block.

How would I be able to set owner instantly?
hmmmm I think, when the mob spawn trigger, you can tame it with the "tame event/taget entity by source entity"
