Topic category: Troubleshooting, bugs, and solutions
Here is a list of the bugs that i found in mcreator 1.7.0:
1- normal world generation or dimension generation is veeery slow (it takes about half an hour) ;
2-special tools doesn't work: i made a bedrock breaker that only breaks bedrock but it doesn't break anything.
3- crafting bug: when i make a crafting that makes more than 1 item (like 1 ruby block ----> 9 rubies) that crating will only make an item. So if you make a saphire block and you want to uncraft it for make 9 saphires, you only get a saphire.
4-end world bug: when i enter into a end-like dimension i don't know if the land is very far or if the world is void;
5-biome bug: when i make a custom biome with custom trees, the biome doesn't generate trees and it generates grass instead of the blocks that it musts make;
6-collide bug: when i make a block that triggers an event when collider by an entity or a player, and i walk on that block that block does nothing;
7-armor bug: when i make a zombie model custom mob and i put on it some armor, the armor texture is bugged;
8- i've made a lucky block. It has a chance to explode. When it explodes and you fall in the hole, you will fall veeeeeeeeeery slow (it's like if you are teleported back) and it's impossible to reach the end;
9- multitool bug: multitool doesn't work;
10-biped model: biped texture doesn't work;
These are only the bugs that I remember now. Please fix these bugs!
2. particals are off by the defualt video settings, so turn them on. i don't have time to answer more now i will try to get back to you later.
for number 4, i am pretty sure you need to have your x-position and z-position both being 0 to properly appear in the end like dimension.
The number 11 is not bug. It is coded in this way in Minecraft and Forge itself. You do not set damage for the item , you set the damage for ToolMaterial enum , and sword takes the value from the material + 4. So if you want a sword with damage 10 , you need type 6.
@#3 thank you very much!
The crafting bug annoys me so much!
Yup crafting and biped skins
RAOL THIS IS IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THIS! I am new to Mcreator, but SERIOUSLY! When I try and make a block have a harvest level above fist level, when I go to test it, the block can still be broken with my fist and I will still get the item dropped by the block! What should I do? Should I re-download Mcreator or is this a terrible bug that slipped by the developers of Mcreator?
Which version of mcreator are you using? If you are using an old version, you need to click thr box "custom harvest level".
Which harvest level have you set? And which is the material of the block?
Edit your block and see if it was so high that it became 0.
