So i created a mob, and made it do a lot of damage. And it only did half a heart of damage to diamond armor. So then i increased the damage the mob did alot, and still only half a heart of damage. Then i increased it again by like 100 and it still only did half a heart? Is this a bug?
1 : half a heart , so your mob did 50 hearts of damage. maybe its beacause you have diamond armour on you ?
This is very wierd. Normally, diamond armor blocks 80% of damage taken if it has no enchantments on it. Therefore, if your mob does 50 hearts of damage, you should take 10 hearts if you're wearing a full set of diamond armor, which means the mob should one-shot you. This might be a glitch within minecraft's client itself, but I have no clue what is going on here.
did you set an AI base to any other mobs? usually that tampers with the mob's health, damage, and sounds.
it is not usually straight forward with this program. If 50 isn't enough for you, simply try 100.
