Problem with dimension
Sat, 09/16/2017 - 17:37 (edited)

Hello everybody, i was trying to make a mod but now i have a problem with the dimension. I created a bioma exclusive for the dimension but i have to choose a filler block when i have to create it, that would not be a problem but when i enter the game for see how the dimension was created i see that all the dimension is created with the main filler block. Anyone knows how to solve this?

PD: Anyone knows how to create a floating islands biome?

Thanks for all your help.

When you create a biome, it will fill up the whole dimension. Think of the nether, that is considered a biome and it fills the whole dimension. You can create another biome with the filler from the dimension to resolve the issue.

If you don't choose the nether type dimension, only the filler block will spawn.
But there is an issue :magma blocks spawn even if not selected. It is very weird on water or air dimensions.
Another issue is that putting the biome rarity to 0 doesn't make that the biome doesn't generate in overworld: you need to delete th line BiomeManager.addSpawnBiome(biome);
