Topic category: Help with MCreator software
I don't know whether I put this in the right category or not but MCreator won't start properly for me anymore. Does anyone know why this might happen or how to fix it?
Please help.
Please explain more, is the application not starting at all, is it loading forever or is it something else?
It just closed itself & said something like: "Java file could not be launched" or something like that.
Are you on Windows or Mac?
I suggest trying these steps for both.
Windows :
1. Uninstall Java
2. Reinstall Java
3. Uninstall MCreator
4. Reinstall MCreator
Mac Method 1
1. Uninstall Java
2. Reinstall Java
3. Uninstall MCreator
4. Reinstall MCreator
Mac Method 2
1. Click MCreator while holding down CTRL + Mouse/Touchpad Right Click
2. Click Open
