I know that in 1.7.9 fly events were added.
I wanted to make a flying mob so I used a mob tick procedure that uses both the flying events - allow entity to fly and make entity fly - however the mob still doesn't fly.
Does anyone know how to make a flying mob?

Has anyone a solution? :(
Flying event is assigned only for players sorry :L
So I can't make a flying mob? :(
Unfortunately you cant
What about like a ghast or phantom style flying
You could make birds or butterflies with bat AI
no sadly that does not allow them to fly they just act like them
You can give them a tick update procedure giving them levitation for a tiny amount of time so that they hover, but it looks a bit weird.
Or maybe trying to edit the code to insert the *entityFlyingBase* instead of *EntityBase*?
I never did it but I think it might work...
@UnderWaves Next update will add Flying entites so chill,
also changing entityFlyingBase will take care of this partialy and you still need to define AI for them so they will be able to find their way while flying
