This is the official topic for RaolCraft Omega.

Here I will write comments about future updates, changelogs, etc.

You can post here bug reports, suggestions, opinions, etc.

OLD STUFF:

I'm sorry that I am not making updates for RaolCraft 3 but I'm having some problems with internet connection (yes again)

 

Anyways, when I will have back the good internet connection I will release new little mods instead of updating RaolCraft.

The mods will be released in a single mod page because they will be like a modpack.

What mod should I make first?

 

Raol's Improved Vanilla

This mod will improve Vanilla minecraft without changing the gameplay (like Quark or Craft Horizons). Some features will be taken from RaolCraft (Raolcraft 1 was intended to be like a Minecraft update). 

 

Raol's Furniture mod

It's simply a furniture mod.

 

Raol's Clothes mod

Inspired by Killer Unicorns's Clothes+ mod.

 

Raol's Garden

A mod that adds more plants

 

(yes all of them start with Raol's because there may be other mods with similar names and also so they are all next to each other.)

 

Why am I doing this?

Because RaolCraft 3's workspace is broken and when importing it I need to fix an hundred of bugs and so it's better to make another mod.

 

Do you prefer another remake? RaolCraft Omega Edition XD

RaolCraft 1 reached 35 mod elements 

RaolCraft 2 reached 200+ mod elements 

RaolCraft 3 reached 900+ mod elements 

RaolCraft Ω maybe will reach 4500 mod elements XD just joking

I think that I will release 1.6 tomorrow. It's finished but still needs some balancements. It will add a new dimension, some new ores, some new wands, a lot of blocks, clothes and 2 dimension-related gems: Topaz and Torquoise (The dimension of Torquoise will be rewarded in 1.7)

1.7 will be a dungeon update: it will add a lot of structures, advanced boss AI, new loot, weapons and mobs. (Mcreator 1.7.9 makes everything possible :))

Too easy and boring to fight a RaolCraft boss? Just use a good sword or a bow enchanted with punch or even a simple magma block trap? Well, now it won't be so easy with the new improved boss AI >:D Mwuahwuahwuah Mwuahwuahwuah

The next update (1.7) is…

The next update (1.7) is like another remake because it turns Pulverizer and Depulverizer into blocks that act like machines, it introduces the Infernal Furnace, Advanced Brewing and Advanced Potions and changes a lot of things (totems included). And the most important thing is that now RaolCraft bosses are smarter. (a comment about new mob AIs coming soon)

This update requires a lot of time because I need to make again all the events and most recipes

I only need to fix most events and recipes (when importing workspace I closed mcreator and I lost most recites :()

In the 1.7 Update I removed…

In the 1.7 Update I removed Guns and Bullets.

I only added them for more uses to Lead and Steel, but with the newly-added machines, they have new uses.

Also I don't like Guns and I think they don't fit in Minecraft.

What do you think?

1.7 finally released! Yeeeees!

It took a while, it's like a whole new remake, I needed to readd all the events and also all the non-shapeless recipes, so I changed a bit of things.

I improved a lot the AI of the bosses, they don't just fight you with melee or ranged attacks now, they summon allies, they clone themselves (the clones are weaker) and they destroy everything.

I added a mob with custom model, the frog (It has been a long time since I didn't add a custom model mob! The last one before the frog was also the first one and was the weird TNT monster of RaolCraft 2).

I also added some advanced machines and an advanced brewing system.

I used procedures a lot. Without procedures this update couldn't be possible.

I hope you will like the update, it really took a lot of work

What should the next update add?

The missing dimensions are: (in the order of adding)

Flora

Sky

Original World, from which all the dimensions born; now it's divided in a war between light and darkness

 

Unfortunately I can't add these dimensions if I can't make dimension-only biomes that don't spawn in the overworld :(

I know that it can be easily coded, but if I code something, then when I need to update to a newer minecraft version, I will need to redo everything (that's why RaolCraft 3 is discontinued, because I coded a lot of things there)

Maybe I will try to only code biomes, because if I don't add custom biomes to dimensions they will look empty and boring forever. Maybe this is what will I add in the next update.
