Hello! For some reason, when I open MCreator, it begins to load, but reaches 'Loading workspace data...' and stops. Can someone help me?
Which version of MCreato do you use?
Same thing is happening to me. Worked fine not even 12 hours ago, I log in today, it says something about updating, and now it won't load at all. I was using version 1.8.0
It's because the workspace.mcreator file is empty. I'm not sure why or how an update prompt found the need to empty that file but I'm pretty much screwed now.
There needs to be a way to compile a new workspace.mcreator list based off the contents of the data folder. I guarantee this broke a lot of other peoples mods to and it's kind of ridiculous that it happened to begin with.
This is a bug that was fixed in 1.8.1. There has been a lot of discussion about this. Restoring from data folder is not possible as workspace carries quite a lot of other data. I suggest you to start using 1.8.1 which should not corrupt workspaces anymore as it now uses a better write method with a much smaller fail rate.
But for some reason, MCreator 1.8.1 doesn't work either.

Is there anyway we can get some kind of automatic backup option if the fact that the program literally deletes your workspaces is a known thing?
