i search all day how to juste put a 3d model with a working texture fore a custom sword that a created in my mcreator mod, do someone can telle me how exactly i could do it ?
I think you can do it in Mrcrayfish Model creator and save in .json format!
I already tried with Blockbench but when i try to do it and put de .json in "custom model" mcreator doesn't see the texture a used and it show me model with the pink and black texture
I've never made a model in Blockbench, so I can not help you!
But you can do in "Mcrayfish Model Creator" will not be 100% 3D, but using a little creativity you can!
The pink and black texture means there is a "texture" error!
How did you import the sword texture in (im using version 1.8.2) please please reply im working on a mod and i have no idea how to put models in for my sword.
Nevermind i found out how
Ok! Hope this Helps!
I have this problem, can someone show me how to do this? I use .json files and I model in Blockbench.
You import the .JSON file, then import the texture. In the item, change the model from the default item to your custom item, then change the texture (it will look weird in the editor, but in-game, it should look fine).
