this is the only thing in the console in mcreator 1.8.1:
Executing gradle command: cleanCache clean setupDecompWorkspace --refresh-dependencies
Build info: MCreator 1.8.1, 64-bit, 4096 MB, Mac OS X - bash, JVM 1.8.0_191, JAVA_HOME: null
NEED HELP!

You do not have a JAVA_HOME set. Check this ticket for more info: https://mcreator.net/tracker/issue/45302
I've tried and it won't recognize my JAVA_HOME... HELP!

also I can do all of the other versions with no problems, just not 1.8.1...
Please open a terminal and enter these commands in this order:

This bug was fixed. Redownload and reinstall MCreator to get it to work.
what is terminal ?
terminal is the Mac console
that is what im using!
