I am making a new mod called Darkest Depths. I will post development samples and roadmap plans here.
You can also post ideas for the mod here!
The mod will be about darkness, and caverns. Any ideas that are 'dark' in any way (as in absence of light or creepy and foreboding), or about the underground (or both!) will probably be accepted if I think they fit the mod well.

Ok, I stopped working on this a while back, but I'm continuing now :)
When 1.9.0 comes out I'm going to have lots of new potion effects. One will be 'Tipsy' which gives you random effects (lasting 15 seconds, except for healing & harming, which are instant) every 15 seconds. You will be able to obtain this effect by drinking beer or wine (which can be made at the fermenter).
May you can add "Effect Lanterns"
You craft this like a 1.14 lantern,but instead a torch you put the tipsy potion!
Instead iron Nuggets,you can put endstone or whatever xD
Nice idea! I can probably add this to the mod. I'm working on a lot at the moment, so this won't be out for a long while, but when it is, I hope it'll have lots of features :)
You can add a Special End Game Weapon.

You can make a biome where the sky is black and all the life is dead, with dead trees and grass, then when you enter there all your meat and food will rotten, above all just by staying there you slowly lose your mind, there you find bizarre versions of yourself, and for you to regain your sanity you need to "light it up" with some special hand lanterna, wich makes the monsters only peek from the darkness and when it's on you gain blindness, seeing only a few blocks away and the glowing eyes of the beasts waiting for your fuel end.
Hope you like this idea, if you don't use it I will. :D
