Mods that add more blocks…
Sat, 07/27/2019 - 11:05

Mods that add more blocks don't often have many blocks. Ones with special features can sometimes be unstable, and with custom models you occasionally get Z-Fighting, but that's about it.

This forum topic will probably be quite quiet. That's a good thing though, nobody wants to think their mod is broken XD

Some issues could happen…

Some issues could happen with the procedure system, the way I have the rotation set up it uses block stages so each stage needs to be linked the prior and next stage, as well as empty stages, need to be linked to the next rotation block. This part has to be done manually and I have already caught my self missing updating blocks but everything gets tested before release so I have time to filter that stuff out.

Z-Fighting? is that when meshes flicker between to mesh objects if so then I have a fix for that, a small trick I used on the basket offsets the mesh, like 0.01 of a pixel or so and it fixes the flickering of the texture, its barely noticeable when you use this technique but other than that there is no real fix of that far as I know without sizing one of the mish a fraction smaller than the connected meshes that overlay a face.
