Spawn Egg not showing up in the block/item selector

Okay so, i made a mob and named it demon and what my mod is going to be about is a custom crafting table that when used can make a demon spawn egg that will protect you like a dog but BETTER. Obviously i'm using procedures for my custom crafting table, so when i get to the output slot i type "spawn" in the search bar and i have a look for the demon spawn egg, all the other spawn eggs are there accept the demon. Can someone tell me how to fix this or why its happening?
